Enough, Hollywood!

Generic Movie Summary:
Character A is a well-dressed, uptight, business executive.
Character B is a Robin Williams-esque free spirit with low intelligence.
Both characters have to arrive at a certain destination at a certain time on a certain day.Along the way, Character B will say and do the worst things at the worst times, leading a series of easily avoidable misunderstandings that result in Character A  being arrested and his personal relationships being ruined.
In the end, Character A learns to stop taking everything so seriously, while Character B learns to show a little more restraint and maturity, all misunderstandings are cleared are both characters arrive at their destination, and they become friends for life.

Now, if this sounds vaguely familiar to you (and it should, considering how many lazy screenwriters rely on this desperate, tired plot every year), than you've already seen "Due Date", which a few friends and i went to see last night. Absolute WORST movie i have seen so far this year.

  1. I hate to say this, but why do you even bother to GO to these movies??? What's the f*in point???

Stay home, cook a nice meal, find someone you love, fight with them (and all the other things that come with that), and, as John Prine says "Blow up your TV, throw away your papers...."

Or not. Nice review. Run for office.

  2. I saw it, too, not knowing really what it was about. About ten minutes in, I couldn't wait for it to end! Aside from a few cheap laughs, it's worthless. The characters are not likeable and deserve each other!
